A Typical Day at CCPA
A typical day at CCPA is jam packed with things to do. There's time for
laughing, time for goofing off, time for learning new activities, time for being serious,
time for learning about God, time for praising God, time for making new friendships, time
for reviving old friendships, time for eating, and even time for sleeping (a little
anyway).
At 7:30 a.m. campers arise to discover that their
counselors have already been awake long enough to shower, dress, AND attend their staff Bible study.
By 8:00 campers are busy doing Cabin Capers
(cleaning the cabin and camp area).
Flag raising and breakfast follow at 8:20.
From here campers go to Morning Watch--their own
quiet time with God.
At 10:00, campers move to their 1st Activity.
Campers choose three activities they'd like to learn during the week from such
things as:

horseback riding |

BIBLE EX -- This is a time of exploring the Bible together with
your cabin group.
Then it's time for more yummy food served by the Tel Hai staff,
complete with songs and scrapers!!!!
After lunch is every counselor's favorite part of the day: REST HOUR!!!!!!!!!
The afternoon is then filled with 2nd and 3rd Activities and Free Time
to spend swimming, shopping at the Tuck
Shop, boating, playing miniature
golf, or relaxing with friends.
Then it's time for dinner and the Evening Program. The Evening
Program is either all-camp, or divided by division or cabin, depending on the night.
It consists of games, staff plays, swimming, snack, and a favorite part of camp:
the campfire. The campfire is a place for praising God through song,
fellowship, and a message around a crackling campfire.
It's a day filled to the brim with stuff to do!!
But everyone still finds time to do things they want to do. Take a nap, make
close friends, and just plain have a GREAT time while getting closer God!!!! |
