Welcome to CCPA!

Camp Cherith in Pennsylvania is a ministry to children and youth. We exist to challenge you to discover the excitement of a Christ-centered life.

Camp Cherith in Pennsylvania offers Christ-centered camping for girls and boys who have completed grades 1-12. Our camping program is designed to help campers develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. In addition, we desire to help campers develop as individuals through cabin group living, outdoor experiences, and an activity program in which they learn skills and develop their unique potential. Camp Cherith is affiliated with Pioneer Clubs, but campers do not need to attend club in order to participate in camp. Camp Cherith is open to all children without regard to race, religion, or culture.


Alert: Detour on 897

We have been advised that you will encounter a detour on your way to Camp Conquest, and the detour is likely to be in effect during our entire stay at Conquest. You can either follow the "detour" signs, or follow these instructions:

Roads to take on the "non-detour" detour. You are detoured off of 897 South(Swartzville Rd) making a left onto Smokestown Rd. Make a right onto Dogwood Lane. Make another right onto Brunner's Grove Rd. You will the intersect 897 once again. Look for the "Reinholds VFW sign(white w/ red letters) on your left to know you have returned to 897. Make a left and proceed to Forest Road. Turn right onto Forest Road and proceed to the entrance to Camp Conquest on your right.


Bunk Notes

Want to keep in touch with your child(ren) when camp is in session? Send emails through Bunk1.com. Bunk Notes are downloaded daily and are typically distributed by lunchtime. This is a great way to send encouragement to your loved ones when they are away from home! CCPA gets a portion of the proceeds for every email sent!

Rather send a letter via snail mail? Send it to: Camper's Name/Division, Camp Cherith in PA, c/o Camp Conquest, 480 Forest Road, Denver, PA 17517. Please allow 2-4 days delivery time.


Voyager Day July 29, 2008

Voyager Day is a 1 day camp program designed specifically for children who have completed first or second grade. It provides an introduction to the Camp Cherith experience for those who are curious about camp but are not quite ready for a week long commitment. Week 1: July 13-Jul 19 Co-ed (Boys grades 1-11; Girls grades 5-11)
Week 2: July 20-Jul 26 Girls (Grades 1-11, CILT Graduation July 25)
Week 3: July 27-Aug 02 Girls (Grades 1-11)
